Gary could be considered to be a computer nerd and has no real formal musical training.

For what he lacks in training though he attempts to make up with through research.  He is the current Happiness@Gunpoint drummer but also enjoys playing guitar when he has the spare time.  Before playing with Happiness@Gunpoint he played the drums all the way back in secondary school in a band called Suburban Space Fish From Mars before taking a break for almost 10 years before he took them back up again.
