Ben has a new Axe!

We are all eagerly awaiting our next rehearsal session so that we can rock our socks off like we’ve never rocked our socks off before.

Unfortuantly due to other commitments we were not able to all get together and practice last week but this week should more than make up for it as Ben has gone a purchased himself a nice new axe. He is now the proud owner of an Epiphone Les Paul Custom.

I’ve not heard it yet but I’m assured its amazing and lets face it, its got to be better than the Ibanez he was playing before

Also watch this space as fingers crossed we will be going into Studio 91 in the very near future to record our very first demo (With a proper studio tech).

Last night Happiness@Gunpoint descended on Studio 91 as they do every Thursday evening to have 3 hours of fun packed rehearsal time. Only this time there was a difference!

Whilst we work out the time and money required to get Jordan to lay down some pro tracks we thought we’d take our old recording gear up there so

we have a reference point
so we could upload something here that doesn’t sound like complete wank.

Last night we managed to get some rough and ready recordings of Gone Away, Farewell To Innocence, Shaun, Guardian Angel, and Can’t Stop Me. We would have had the funky version of Gone Away but Steven didn’t shut down the mixer correctly and it has been lost to the ether.So now I have to sit here get it all off the mixer and mix it down as best of possible. I’ll post back once its complete.
